Broadening your thinking
One of my clients is Smarter Egg, a business based in Cork, providing the means for professionals to develop their working wisdom through facilitated peer coaching programmes and events.
Each quarter I organise a themed event on behalf of the Smarter Egg network, whereby the group explore a different theme, which has relevance to all, no matter what their role in the working world. We read a new book each quarter, broadening our thinking and then discuss it at the event. Examples of recent book themes include productivity, decision-making, influencing, selling, habits and essentialism.
This quarter we discuss how Michael Bungay Stanier distills the essentials of coaching to seven core questions. It will be an interesting evening!
